making coasters

Some digital images from tumble fish studio at deviant scrap
today i was working on making coasters.  i had made some of these a long time ago and i used them quite a bit.  but over time, if people liked them i would tell them to take them, and one got lost in the move, so my stash seriously dwindled to three.  i am hoping to make nine so i can get back up to a dozen.  today i got four done, so it was a very good day.

  5. Great idea! I've got a boat-load (OK, maybe not QUITE that many!) of coasters. I think I need to do something like this.

  7. This is just wonderful Roc, I have a set on my work table that I should probably get going on. Do you cover them with decoupage once they are decorated? Or what do you use over the surface?

  8. claudine - you can use a glossy sealant if you like. i prefer to use clear contact paper.
